adieu, bitches: the hills
Tonight is the finale of The Hills and I’ve been vegging out in front of the day-long finales cause I’ll admit - I have a fetish for “pretty or petty white people with problems” shows. The Hills, The O.C., Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill - I’m a sucker for all that shit. And the cinematography of the show was A+ cause it really made everything - LA, the girls, the clubs - look glamorous and sparkly. Just the way the show was shot was gorgeous. I take it as an inspiration for the planning of R.B. (the TV drama I’m writing).
I weep for American fashion if the only MTV show we have to look to for style cues is Jersey Shore 2.
The show is ending and I still have so many questions!: Why no black people? Why no redheads? Why did the girls bounce around the same retinue of wack dudes between them (Spencer, Brody, Justin Bobby). Did MTV really think Kristin Cavallari’s sudden appearance post-LC was natural or believable at all?
Favorite girl: Lauren Conrad, cause that chic bitch had her shit together. And it was HER show, after all.
Least fav: Tie between Stepford fembot Heidi Montag and neo-Amanda Woodward supabitch Kristin Cavallari Hey but what about: Audrina, Whitney, and Lo? Snooze. Yeah, what about ‘em?
